Our puppy nursery and our puppy showroom are both equipped with clean air ventilation and exhaust systems that purify and circulate the air constantly to help eliminate all odors and bacteria that cause germs. This brings fresh, clean air into our whole facility and enables our puppies to breathe purified air 24/7.
Our facility is thoroughly cleaned with state of the art disinfectants that are specially designed for pet facilities and are pet friendly.
You might wonder what kind of environment your potential future puppy is growing up in before you whisk them away to their dream home. Soothing music is always played throughout the puppy nursery and at night we dim the lights so our little sweethearts can sleep peacefully. Each of our little furry babies have their own individual bed and blanket, water bottle, bowls and toys, which are changed, cleaned and sanitized daily.
CARE
Our puppy nannies are well educated and experienced in the caretaking and socialization of young pups. We are a small puppy store so each of our puppies get plenty of playtime and constant individual attention to ensure they mature properly.
For their diet, we feed our puppies Nutrisource dog food.
We carry pure breeds, designer breeds, hypoallergenic and non-hypoallergenic breeds, small, medium and a few large breeds.
OUR ETHICS
Our puppies come from reputable, professional breeders. The owners used to breed Boxers and through dog shows and through word of mouth they know the breeders that they deal with for many years. The owners personally visit each and every one of them faithfully two times a year.
By New Jersey State law, we may only get our puppies from USDA licensed breeders. Our breeders are inspected yearly and have 10 years of perfect inspection reports with no violations. We do not buy from or support puppy mills or any backyard breeders.
Our puppies come to us up to date on their vaccines and upon arrival are thoroughly examined by our veterinarians to make sure they are and fit for sale.
When you buy a puppy from us you will receive their complete health records, pedigree information, breed certificate, microchip registration, a list of veterinarians that are in the area, feeding instructions and a few tips to help you welcome your puppy into his or her new home.
Together with our contract you will receive the NJ Pet Purchase Protection Act. This is a warranty which covers 14 days within purchase for any viral infections. It also gives you 6 months guarantee towards any hereditary or congenital issues.
Purchasing a puppy should not be an impulsive decision. It is a lifelong commitment. All of our puppies are FINAL SALE. We care tremendously about our puppies and treat them as our little babies, a big reason why we believe we offer the best puppies in NJ. We wish for the perfect match on both sides and that they will go into loving forever homes. If for any reason we believe or feel that the puppy will not be comfortable or safe in a certain environment we reserve the right to refuse a sale.

Meet Our Team
Elli Lygnos
Originally born in England, I moved to Greece at the age of 13, where I attended boarding school and completed a year of college before making my way to the United States. My passion for animals—and especially dogs—led me to enroll at the New York School of Dog Grooming. After graduating, I began working at Karen’s for People and Pets, an exclusive grooming boutique on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. There, I was trained in the art of grooming sporting breeds and terriers using only thinning shears, a technique I mastered along with advanced hand-plucking.
Owning my own business had always been a dream, and in 2000, that dream became a reality when I opened my grooming salon. With a dedicated team of four groomers, two bathers, and three fluffers, we proudly groomed upwards of 50 dogs a day. Our reputation grew quickly, and clients would travel over 20 miles to bring their pups to Troy’s for expert grooming and stylish cuts.
Alongside the salon, I also co-owned a kennel and daycare facility—though my true passion remained grooming and helping families find the perfect dog. Many of my longtime grooming clients began asking if I knew reputable breeders, which sparked a new chapter in my journey.
In 2023, after attending dog shows with my son and meeting with top breeders, we began traveling across the Midwest to personally visit breeding facilities. From South Dakota to Louisiana, and many states in between, I developed strong relationships with responsible, ethical breeders who prioritize health, temperament, and quality. To this day, I make biannual trips to meet with these breeders, carefully planning future litters and ensuring that every puppy we offer is raised in the best possible environment.
Our puppies are known for their beauty, health, and outstanding temperaments. Customers travel from all over to visit our shop, and we take great pride in pairing each family with the perfect puppy. My team and I are deeply committed to providing exceptional service and helping every customer find a happy, healthy companion to welcome into their home.
Sal Perez
Hi, I’m Sal — and yes, I get paid to play with puppies (dream job, right?).
My journey in the dog world started in 2005 as a humble dog bather, where I quickly realized two things: dogs are better than people, and I had a knack for grooming. Fast forward 20 years, I’ve been elbows-deep in shampoo, fur, and wagging tails ever since.
After moving to Bergen County in 2014, I managed a top-notch dog daycare and grooming facility, fine-tuning my skills in canine care, behavior, and breed knowledge. In 2023, I brought my passion to Silver Nickel Puppies — where I now help people find their perfect four-legged family member.
When I’m not matching puppies with their humans, you’ll find me geeking out over dog shows, breed standards, or just getting way too excited over a perfectly executed puppy haircut.
